ChemiDocâ„¢ MP Imaging System Testimonial — KAIST, South Korea (full version) – Video
ChemiDoc trade; MP Imaging System Testimonial -- KAIST, South Korea (full version)
For more info, visit http://www.bioradiations.com Learn how scientists in the Gene Regulation Laboratory at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) use the ChemiDoc MP imaging system in their work investigating the molecular machinery involved in epigenetic gene regulation. Prof. Ji-Joon Song studies chromatin structure and function and its relation to cellular identity, cell-cell interactions, and gene regulation in disease processes such as cancer. Bio-Rad imaging systems expand the toolkit available researchers in his laboratory, with intuitive operation requiring little or no user training. The ChemiDoc MP system enables stain-free imaging with superior sensitivity, exceptional image quality, and outstanding versatility. Prof. Song lists the virtues of the ChemiDoc MP system: ease of use, simple and rapid protein quantification, sensitivity comparable to traditional radiolabeling and X-ray film, and the ability to monitor chromatin modifications in real time using three-color visualization. The ChemiDoc MP system is a tool that allows his group to integrate results from structural biology, biochemistry, and cell biology to answer interesting research questions. Rna Modification
ll4.me Rna Modification The presence of modified nucleotides in cellular RNAs has been known for decades and over 100 distinct RNA modifications have been characterized to date. While the exact role of many of these modifications is still unclear, many are highly conserved across evolution and most contribute to the overall fitness of the organism. In recent years, new methods and bioinformatics approaches have been developed for the dissection of modification pathways and functions. These methods intersect a number of related fields, ranging from RNA processing to comparative genomics and systems biology. In addition, many of the techniques described in this volume have broad applicability, particularly in regards to the isolation, characterization, and reconstitution of ribonucleoprotein complexes, expanding the experimental repertoire available to all RNA researchers. At 44:00 Min he accidentally says "Is using Adult Stem Cells Wrong? Yes. He should have said Embryonic Stem Cells. ; ) Dr. Tommy Mitchell Lecture on Stem Cells Cloning at Immanuel Baptist Church Highland, CA. November 5, 2012 Dr. Mitchell graduated with a BA with highest honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1980, with a major in Cell Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. For his superior scholarship during his undergraduate study, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Society (the oldest and one of the most-respected honor societies in America). Dr. Mitchell subsequently attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, where he received his medical degree in 1984. Dr. Mitchell completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals in 1987. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. In 1991, he was elected a *Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). Tommy had a thriving medical practice in his hometown of Gallatin, Tennessee, for 20 years, but, in late 2006, he withdrew from medical practice to pursue creation ministry full time.From:MClover420Views:0 0ratingsTime:01:00:01More inEducation
