Fealos Plays Minecraft Ep. 2 - The End of the Begining
In this episode I continue discussing topics that I will bring up in future episodes and wouldn #39;t mind hearing your questions about. I also go on a brief tangent about my educational background, starting as a Biochemistry and Philosophy double-major and switching to a Computer Science degree. I never really finish that train of thought as I get somewhat further sidetracked discussing why I prefer biochemistry and genetics to cyberpunk for human modification. However, I cut that conversation short as to fully discuss my views and give that topic the time it deserves would take several episodes. In the future I will probably return to cover it more. I also start caving, as well as planning what sort of dwelling I intend to construct this season. I leave off preparing to discuss the Los Angeles Lakers #39; recent coaching change. FPMC Overview: In this series I am going to be going through multiple Minecraft worlds, in which I will endeavor to reach a point at which the game is not a challenge. To measure my progress towards this objective, I have defined a set of objectives to accomplish each season (see below). Upon completion of these objectives I will decide upon an endgame objective to represent the culmination of my previous work. This endgame objective will vary from season to season; for season 1 the endgame objective is simple: kill the Ender Dragon. The Common Objectives: 1. Create an automated wheat/carrot/potato/melon farm. 2. Create an XP farm. 3. Acquire a full ...From:fealosmcViews:3 0ratingsTime:13:35More inGaming

Kieu-thu Kim Tran: 2012 DC BTO Scholarship Recipient
"I have a keen eye set on my future and all of the bright opportunities that lay ahead of me." -- Kim Tran Kim Tran was born into a world of adversity and abuse. Kim #39;s childhood has been unstable: She has moved from place to place, even living out of her brother #39;s car for a time. As her Vietnamese parents and extended family struggled to gain a foothold in America, Kim struggled to find her place in the family. School has always been her refuge. Teachers have always been her champions. Today she takes Advanced Placement courses, mentors younger students facing adversity and works as a cashier at Wegman #39;s grocery store to support herself. Her goal is to go to Virginia Tech and study biochemistry.From:childrensdefenseViews:4 0ratingsTime:05:11More inNonprofits Activism

High Throughput Analysis For Early Drug Discovery – Video

High Throughput Analysis For Early Drug Discovery
ll4.me High Throughput Analysis For Early Drug Discovery This book offers concise and unbiased presentations by synthetic and analytical chemists who have been involved in creating and moving the field of combinatorial chemistry into the academic and industrial mainstream. Since the synthetic method often dictates the appropriate types of analysis, each chapter or section begins with a description of the synthesis approach and its advantages. The description of various combinatorial and high-throughput parallel synthesis techniques provide a relevant point of entry for synthetic chemists who need to set up appropriate characterisation methods for his/her organisation. This is an invaluable resource for all organic and analytical chemists in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and biotechnology fields who are either involved in, or beginning to investigate combinatorial techniques to increase overall efficiency and productivity.First reference to focus on the analytical side of synthesis Publisher: Academic Press Illustration: N Language: ENG Title: High Throughput Analysis for Early Drug Discovery Pages: 00000 (Encrypted PDF) On Sale: 2004-10-26 SKU-13/ISBN: 9780124311657 Category: Science : Chemistry - Analytic Category: Science : Chemistry - Organic Category: Science : Life Sciences - Biochemistry This book offers concise and unbiased presentations by synthetic and analytical chemists who have been involved in creating and moving the field of combinatorial chemistry into ...From:michaelsuper9854Views:0 0ratingsTime:00:14More inPeople Blogs

Multiple Aspects Of Dna And Rna: From Biophysics To Bioinformatics: Lecture Notes Of The Les Houches – Video

Multiple Aspects Of Dna And Rna: From Biophysics To Bioinformatics: Lecture Notes Of The Les Houches
ll4.me Multiple Aspects Of Dna And Rna: From Biophysics To Bioinformatics: Lecture Notes Of The Les Houches Summer School 2004 This book is dedicated to the multiple aspects, that is, biological, physical and computational of DNA and RNA molecules. These molecules, central to vital processes, have been experimentally studied by molecular biologists for five decades since the discovery of the structure of DNA by Watson and Crick in 1953. Recent progresses (eg use of DNA chips, manipulations at the single molecule level, availability of huge genomic databases...) have revealed an imperious need for theoretical modelling. Further progresses will clearly not be possible without an integrated understanding of all DNA and RNA aspects and studies. The book is intended to be a desktop reference for advanced graduate students or young researchers willing to acquire a broad interdisciplinary understanding of the multiple aspects of DNA and RNA. It is divided in three main sections:The first section comprises an introduction to biochemistry and biology of nucleic acids. The structure and function of DNA are reviewed in R. Lavery #39;s chapter. The next contribution, by V. Fritsch and E. Westhof, concentrates on the folding properties of RNA molecules. The cellular processes involving these molecules are reviewed by J. Kadonaga, with special emphasis on the regulation of transcription. These chapters does not require any preliminary knowledge in the field (except that of elementary ...From:cherylbond150Views:0 0ratingsTime:00:13More inPeople Blogs
