As a Navy Dentist, Dr. G. completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, and received additional certifications in TMJ and orofacial pain management, complex endodontic therapy, oral surgery, periodontal surgery and combat casualty care. He then served as Dental Officer aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan for two West Pacific deployments, earning multiple awards, medals and a back seat ride in a jet.
