University Hospital, Coventry, United Kingdom is one of the largest and busiest NHS University Teaching Trusts in the country. We have an exciting partnership with Warwick Medical School, which is based in one of the UK #39;s leading universities, to combine excellence in teaching and research with the highest quality medical education across a range of innovative programmes. In addition the Trust employs over 200 core and specialty trainee doctors appointed by the Deanery Schools. A full range of medical and surgical specialties are available many of which deliver subspecialty and academic training. Each department has an educational lead that supervises the education and training programme for trainees. There are a number of modern facilities to support education and training located in the Clinical Sciences Building. There is a large library, clinical skills lab, and surgical training suite. A recent addition is a "state of the art" simulation suite. A large number of local, regional, national and international courses are run throughout the year Research University Hospital, Coventry was completed in 2006. Our major research partner is the University of Warwick and we share our research themes with Warwick Medical School.
