On the November 2012 episode of Show-Me Ag... Monsanto is one of the most powerful and important corporations in the world and they are headquartered in St Louis Missouri. They have focused their efforts on biotechnology for agriculture and most Missouri farms are applying technology, developed in Monsanto laboratories, on farms across the Midwest. The Monsanto Fund, a foundation springing from the parent company, has decided to fund projects in the rural areas where their products are put to work. Joining Kyle in the studio is Jake Schlitt, an Operations Supervisor for Monsanto in Marshall, MO. We will also visit Miami, MO where their school district has directly benefited from Monsanto #39;s "America #39;s Farmers Grow Rural Education" program.
