It should be noted that both Merriam and Webster were book publishers and clearly very into dictionaries, not trash novels, so Im going to assume here that neither was much fun at parties or played a lot of sports, and therefore they would have no feel whatsoever as to how chemistry often impacts whether a team wins or loses.
