John Carvell donates £25000 to the University of Dundee Medical School to endow two student prizes for Musculoskeletal / Orthopaedic studies achievement. In this video, John talks about why he is keen to promote the pursuit of excellence in the School where he trained for what was to become a distinguished career in medicine. He also shares his experiences from those undergraduate days, which included an expedition to East Greenland - to climb a glacier that no man had set foot on before.
