Official medicine doesn #39;t look serious at flies as a infectious diseases spreaders. Povilas always has curious mind and tried to test it. Four years of research proved that houseflies do transmit very dangerous diseases. And accepting this fact can save many lives in hospitals and their premises, especially in tropical countries. For this work he has been awarded at European Union Young Scientists Contest - Best scientific project of 2012.
