Esther Rantzen has been a Patron for DEMAND (Design and Manufacture for Disability) since it was founded in 1980. DEMAND is a charity that brings together medical professionals and the DEMAND designers and engineers to create special equipment for children and adults with disabilities, when no other solution exists. Disability can mean that everyday life can be hard. In many cases a piece of equipment tailored to individual needs can make all the difference.
