A Thanksgiving to Remember
Andrea and Anthony Temperino share their story of survival. While pregnant with triplets, Andrea was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder, Myasthenia Gravis with antibodies to muscle specific tyrosine kinase (MuSK), a condition that weakens the muscles and affects swallowing, speech and breathing. Doctors believe Andrea is the first women pregnant with triplets to be diagnosed with this condition in the United States.
