Chemistry infrastructure is a crucial component in pharmaceutical R D informatics. Because of complexity and interdependency of information systems, to migrate chemistry infrastructure from one platform to another one manifests a great challenge to global pharmaceutical companies. The concern is that migration may interrupt or even demolish the interdependency among various systems and applications, especially legacy systems. With some experiments, we are able to successfully migrate some selected systems from MDL to ChemAxon platform in short period of time.
